Reinforcement of cattle grates is made of A-IIIN class steel (RB500W) with diameters from 10 to 16 mm. The spacing of the main bars is 100-150 mm, depending on the expected loads. In addition, distribution bars are used to ensure the rigidity of the structure. The lagging of the reinforcement is a minimum of 45 mm to ensure durability in aggressive environments.

Assembly of cattle grates

Then the level of the support surface is checked, which should be leveled to the nearest 5 mm. In addition, flexible shims should be prepared to reduce the contact stress between the concrete and the support.
